how we started
Gran Cielo Imports, meaning Big Sky in Spanish, complements our Iberian saddle horse farm, Big Sky Kiger Horses. Located in the picturesque foothills of Alberta just south of Calgary, where we are blessed with the stunning big blue sky that Alberta is renowned for. The owners have roots in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley and Kyle made the move to Alberta in 2003 to work as a Project Manager in the Water & Waste Water construction industry. Their passion for vineyards was ignited during travels worldwide, leading them to establish a liquor agency dedicated to bringing exquisite wines and spirits from around the globe into the Alberta market for all to enjoy.
